9/22/2017 0 Comments On the road to BrokervilleGrowing up I spent a lot of time watching Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. At one time they were the big stars and did a series of “On the Road” movies. It was a silly and innocent era and the movies reflected it. I still stop to watch them whenever one pops up, much to Donna’s dismay. She’s compelled to leave the room!! And I agree, they are corny and sappy and silly, but they remind me of a time that seemed a lot simpler, a happy time when everyone wasn’t so wound up. A time when we didn’t require there to be “Breaking News” every second.
And now, I am on the road! I’m off, on the “Road to Brokerville.” I was asked several times “Are you a broker yet?” See, an agent is eligible to become a broker after five years of being an active agent. There are a ton of classes you have to take and you have to have 3600 points. That sounds like a lot, and it is. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I have done enough business and been involved in enough sales that I could qualify for those points with all my experience. So I did it. I finally decided to get my brokers license so I could better serve YOU. :) I decided to acquire more knowledge in order to better protect the OHT community, to gain more wisdom and put in the work to be the best resource I can be. I want to be someone you can fully trust when it comes to Real Estate. So, what now?? As a Broker, I could ....
But who knows what the future will bring!!
