Lakeside in Las Colinas

Check out this opening of the Water Street complex in Las Colinas! Many consider it a game-changer in our area. The project brings lakeside living/retail with a complex similar to Legacy West, CityLine and Mockingbird Station. It will bring more than 60k square feet of shops and restaurants and hundreds of apartments to a lakeside site in the Las Colinas Urban Center. Over 60% of the apartments have water views. Most of the retail space is in a series of small buildings along O’Connor Blvd with about 65% of the retail spaces already leased. The majority of the retails space is restaurant-focused, with options ranging from sandwich and breakfast to fine dining. 
Las Colinas has been one of the top business districts in North Texas for company moves from both in our area and from out of town. The new retail space, along with the nearby Music Factory development, have been big factors inciting companies to come in. The first retail stores are scheduled to open around Thanksgiving. There will also be an elevated transit system station that will open in March. It will connect Water Street to office buildings in the area and the nearby DART commuter rail station.
